Jessi Mischel, PhD

Lead Invasive Clinical and Research Engineer

Jessi received her Ph.D in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh, working with Dr. Aaron Batista to develop novel tools for studying sensorimotor integration. For the last three and a half years, Jessi played a key role in elevating Ripple’s presence in the animal electrophysiology space, particularly among non-human primate researchers. She has been instrumental in Ripple’s growth, and has recently transitioned to the Ripple Neuromed team to spear-heading development and sales of our new line of invasive research products.

Rebecca Gerth, PhD

Research Sales Engineer

Rebecca earned her Biomedical Engineering PhD at University of Pittsburgh with Dr. Carol Colby where she applied signal processing techniques to study the communication of spatial information between distant brain areas during the planning and generation of eye movements. She is excited to bring her passion for analysis to the Ripple Sales Team.

Ross Apparies, PhD

Director of Human Clinical and Research Sales

Ross received his Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Maryland. His research interests included cognitive function across the lifespan, peak performance and attentional states, using EEG and ERPs as the primary dependent measures. Since 1997, Ross has played a key role in development, sales and marketing of clinical and research products assessing brain activity, launching more than a dozen hardware and software products, and has played a key role in setting up or optimizing hundreds of laboratories and research studies.

Viral Sheth, MS

Director of International Sales

Viral received his M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Virginia Commonwealth University. Viral is passionate about driving advancements in neuro disorders through research including epilepsy, Parkinson’s, stroke and many more. Previously, he worked with Electrical Geodesics, Inc. (EGI), for over a decade, working closely with researchers and clinicians from around the world in establishing state of the art multi-modal neuroimaging labs. At Ripple Neuro, he is looking forward to building long term relationships with our customers and partners worldwide to deliver innovative solutions coupled with a customer-centric and learning mindset.
